PowHer Teen - Youth Encounter with Israel

German-Israeli youth encounter for teens

The title and thus the motto of the meeting is "PowHer." This is a play on the words "Power" (strength, power) and "Her" (the female pronoun "she"). In keeping with the motto of the meeting, this project is about female empowerment, i.e., the strengthening of women, and focuses on gender equality. We also want to explore the topic "Without women, there can be no peace."

.

Two things are particularly special about this meeting: the diversity of the group and the participatory structure of the project "by young women for young women." The group consists of German, Israeli, Jewish, Arab, Muslim, Catholic, and non-religious women with different life realities, united by a common interest in the question "What does it mean to be a woman?"
