Stronger Together - Civic Engagement, Media, and the Power to Create Impact
The Ludwig Wolker Association, in cooperation with the Armenian Agency of Germany (AAG) and the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), invites young people from Germany and Armenia to an international youth encounter. Together, we will explore Berlin and Yerevan, Germany and Armenia, and the topic of "Civil Participation and Media."
Expected dates of the encounter:
- Early August 2025: Preparatory meeting in Berlin
- August 24 - 31, 2025 in Yerevan
- October 19 - 25, 2025 in Berlin
What you can expect:
- Background discussions with journalists
- Embassy visits in Yerevan and Berlin
- Meetings with local communities in rural Armenia
- Workshops on print media, radio, and social media
- Visit to the German Parliament in Berlin
- Intercultural evenings
- Sightseeing in Armenia and Germany
- ..and much more, your ideas are welcome!
Requirements for participation:
- For participants aged 18-25
- Political interest and active participation in the project
- Attendance at all scheduled project dates
- English language skills
- A valid passport
- Enjoyment of getting to know new people and cultures
- A participation fee of €450 (a lower solidarity contribution is also possible)
