Equality Now! Young people call for gender equality.
The international youth encounter #ExchangeForEquality brought 14 young people from Germany and Kenya together to shed light on the issue of gender equality, in particular gender-based violence. During the exchange, the young people gathered lessons and insights from their engagements with communities, religious leaders and politicians, and produced powerful digital stories to address issues of discrimination and empowerment of young girls and women.
The EQUALITY NOW campaign will be broadcast during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence which runs from 25 November to 10 December 2022. We invite you to stand up for equality and make the world listen to the demands of young people.
