ArtMagica is an international youth encounter that was held this summer for the second time with the Ivorian partner Institut National es Arts et de l'Action Culturelle (INSAAC). In the reunion, ten Ivorian and eight German youths met for 15 days in Berlin and Heilbronn.
Through the encounter in Germany, as they had previously done in Côte d'Ivoire, the young people gained a concrete insight into the everyday lives of others. The important development policy topics in both countries, such as the production and consumption of food, the conservation of resources and the avoidance of waste, were specifically reflected in the sense of global learning and prepared in the theatre workshops. The project laid the foundation for a mobile black light theatre in Côte d'Ivoire.
